Stevie Salas is known as one of the best guitar players of all time, who in his long career worked with many global superstars. He is also active in other fields from TV and movies to entrepreneurship.
In many professional sources, also in the magazine Guitar Player, he is portrayed as one of the best guitar players of all time. He started his career as the guitar player of the father of funk George Clinton, and then continued in the Bootsy Collins band and the group Was (Not Was), he played in bands that accompanied Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart and his (at that time) fiancée Sass Jordan, and then he formed his own group Colorcode.
Salas is also the author of the games Rockstar Solos and Glam Joe, two popular games and applications for guitar enthusiasts on Apple phones; and for the companies Framus and Warwick, he created the new guitar series The Idol Maker.
Stevie was also the music director of the very popular TV show American Idol.
